- Connections to restaurants or retailers who value sustainability or promote local/ fair trade is an asset
- Outgoing, willing to approach businesses and be persistent
- Connections to product distribution, fair trade products is an asset
Tasks may include
- - Outreach to restaurants and retailers
- Research on distributors, families of restaurants
- Developing relationships with restaurants and retailers and potentially organizing in-store or in-restaurant events
- Liaising with fairtrade brands to promote them to retailers and restaurants / cafes
- Getting involved in YYC Hot Chocolatefest or other food related events that could carry fairtrade product
